Melitopol Sister-Cities: Brive-la-Gaillarde (France) In 2012, a friendship agreement was signed between the city of Melitopol and Kėdainiai District Municipality (Lithuanian: Kėdainių rajono savivaldybė) . The center of the district - the city of Kedainiai - was an important city during the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, the second city after Vilnius and had the fame of the center of artisans, traders and representatives of different religious denominations.
Brive-la-Gallarde is a city in southwest France, a history spanning more than 15 centuries. Its area is 48.6 square km. Population is about 50 thousand inhabitants. Developed industrial and commercial center.
Melitopolians of older generation and remember the sincere warm feelings of representatives Brive-la-Gaillarde who visited Melitopol. These visits were a real manifestation of people's diplomacy, they strongly contributed not only to the development of partnerships between our cities, but also strengthen the traditional friendship between the two nations.
In August 2012 a new sister-cities agreement was signed by the Melitopol Mayor and Brive-la-Gaillarde Mayor Philippe Nauche .

An agreement on cooperation with Melitopol was signed on the 26.09.2011. Pukhavichy Raion is amazing because it is a land of ancient tales and legends, hardworking and talented people. It is located in the southeastern part of the Minsk region and has common borders on Minsk, Slutsk, Starye Dorogi, Uzda, Cherven districts of Minsk region and Osipovichi district, Mogilev region.

Borisov Raion administration (Belarus)
An agreement between the Borisov District and Melitopol was signed on the 8th of July 2012. Borisov District is an administrative unit in the north-east of Minsk region. The population of the district is 191 800.
Borisov is one of the oldest cities in Belarus, it was founded in 1102. In 2006, the city of Borisov and Borisov region were unitied into a single administrative structure the so called Borisov District with administrative center in Borisov.
Thre are more than 40 enterprises of mechanical engineering and metal working, instrumentation, chemical industry, wood processing, pharmaceutical production, crystal ware, plastic products, matches and many other products.
Sliven (Bulgaria)
Modern city of Sliven is regional and municipal administrative cente that integrates the functions of economic and spiritual center. With its 112 103 inhabitants it is the eighth largest city in the country.
One of the largest industrial centers in Bulgaria, which played a crucial role during the Bulgarian Renaissance, the city with a long tradition in the textile, engineering, glass, food and electrical industries. City is the "Valley of Peaches" in the region.
The friendship agreement between Sliven and Melitopol was signed on July 1, 2012. As in Sliven and in Melitopol has the same name square, named after the sister city.

The twinning agreement between Gori Municipality and the Executive Committee of the Melitopol City Council was signed on May 21, 2017, during the visit of the Melitopol delegation to Gori. The population of the city is 48.3 thousand people. It is one of the oldest cities in Georgia. The official status of the city Gori got in 1801.
