Melitopol Mayor SergiyValter and Deputy Mayor Valery Govorkov have invited the representatives of thePrefecture of South-Western District of Moscow to attend the celebrations during the Day of Moscow. Melitopol representatives held a number of meetings. In particular, the Mayor SergiyValter signed a cooperation agreement with the administration of the Akademicheskoye District in Moscow.
Melitopol has been supporting good and friendly relations with the South-Western District of Moscow for about 10 years. SergiyValter paid a visit to Moscow as the Mayor for the first time, and he was pleased to conclude an agreement on cooperation. The agreement includes not only cultural exchanges, cooperation in the development of tourism and sports, and also exchange of good practices in the housing development sphere. In particular, the administration of the Southern Butovo hasmade an informative tour for the Melitopolians and talked about municipal programs of improvement ofterritories around houses. According to SergiyValter, in this part of Moscow the authorities support initiatives of citizens and promote their participation in the landscaping. The Heat Exchangers that were colored impressed the representatives of Melitopol. This experience, according to SergiyValter can be applied in Melitopol.
In turn, representatives of the South-West District will visit the city of Melitopol on the Day of the city and will create a program of concrete measures for the development of bilateral relations.
