President of DONGYING NEW ENERGY ASSOCIATION Mr. Jinyuan Wang had a meeting with the Mayor of Melitopol Sergei Valter, Deputy Mayor Valery Govorkov and chief of the industry development department Alexei Zvarich. Mr. Jinyuan Wang presented the association led by companies that manufacture equipment to produce renewable energy. The association and its members are focused on the development of business in Ukraine and in particular in Melitopol. As noted by the Chinese side, Melitopol has a unique geographical position and is in the center of the potential future deployment of the projects for the production of renewable energy.
In turn, Melitopol Mayor Sergei Valter said that the city is ready to contribute to the development of the business and will support it in all phases of its development.Valery Govorkov explained that the issue of production of renewable energy equipment is of current interest now in Ukraine, with the latest publication of Ernst & Young that states that in three months Ukraine has moved from 30thto 29thposition in the world ranking of the most attractive countries in terms of investment in renewable energy.
"For the rirst time Ukraine took part in this rating in 2011, and now the country is ahead of European countries such as Bulgaria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Austria, Finland and other. Moreover, our country remains the only representative of the CIS and the former Soviet Union in the rankings. And it is our competitive advantage. And the so-called Solar index of Ukraine is at an even higher place (21th). This proves that the solar energy sector isespecially attractive". - said Valery Govorkovat a meeting.
The parties agreed to continue the dialogue and the exchange of supplementary information. Also the guest from China has learn about the free production facilities (Brownfield) and free land (greenfield) for possible placement of manufacture.
