During the visit of the delegation of Brive-la-Gaillarde (France) to Melitopol Valeriy Govorkov, the deputy mayor, and the Head of the Industry Development Department Alexey Zvarych met with Mr. Nuen, the Head of the Social Life and Associations Work Department at the administration Brive-la -Gaillarde and Ms. Feral-Monts, the Deputy Mayor of Brive-la-Gaillarde.

At the meetings the sides spoke about Melitopol industrial potential, unique enterprises of the city and its business associations, including the engineering cluster "AgroBOOM", and economic outlook for the next 10 years. Particular emphasis was made on the development of investment platforms - "Industrial Park."

French authorities have indicated their achievements in the development of the local economy. An engineering cluster that includes 32 enterprises of mechanical engineering operates on the territory of Brive-la-Gaillarde.

The parties agreed on the similarity of economic development of the two cities and agreed on the systematic development of the relations between businessmen in Ukraine and France.
