An official delegation from Melitopol visited g.Briv-la-Gaillarde to sign an agreement on the twinning of cities. Four months ago, between the Ukrainian and French sides signed a memorandum of intent to resume twinned. They recall that were installed 35 years ago, but then for various reasons have come to naught. The current government has initiated a new phase of Melitopol friendships with Brive-la-Gaillarde to result in the signing of the partnership and cooperation between the two cities in terms of economic, health, tourism, culture, education and sports. - I think that is a very significant step for our city as a socially and politically, - said Sergei Walter. - Residents of Brive-la-Gaillarde glad restore amicable relations.
