Melitopol Mayor Sergei Walter and Deputy Mayor Valery Govorkov met with a delegation from Turkey. Turkey was represented by Ibrahim Yavash - general representative of the Federation of the Crimean Tatars in the Republic of Turkey.

The parties discussed the latest trends rapprochement between Ukraine and Turkey in various ways. Mr. Yavash said Melitopol - very promising city in terms of attractiveness. In turn, measures Melitopol Sergei Walter invited representatives of Turkish businessmen to invest in various areas, including the food industry, construction, tourism and more.

The parties agreed that the next round of negotiations will take place during the Day of Melitopol, which traditionally marks the last Sunday in September.
