Melitopol Deputy Mayor Valery Govorkov and the Director of PU "Melitopolkommuntrans" Dmitry Kolesnik held another meeting with representatives of Spanish companies "HERA Group" in order to disscuss the ecological project on recycling "landfill gas" (biogas) that will be implemented in Melitopol. It will allow to recieve electricity by processing municipal solid waste. Valery Govorkov informed the Spanish side that on the 31st of January Melitopol City Council decided to support this environmental project.

The Spanish side, in turn, updated the local authorities on the project, requested additional information and outlined the project prospects. The parties agreed to continue the dialogue.
