One of the priorities of Melitopol local authorities is creation of new jobs because it plays an important role in the socio-economic development of the city. They work on legalization of labour i.e. making all of the enterprenuers pay taxes. 

Thanks to the implementation of investment projects in 2012 about 500 new jobs were created. Implemented projects are: service centers of the world-known brands of agricultural machinery CLAAS, AMAZONE, John Deere, 2D, 3D, 5D cinema chain, production of  buses for municipal transport, Gorky Park of culture and leisure projects, creation of a center of family entertainment "Roller City", opening of a new shopping center "Palladium", construction of a new multi-storey building, networks of shops "Veteran", "Knitwear", ATB and Melitopol bakery increased the number of stores. Melitopol budget will recieve approximately 1,5 million USD in 2013 in the form of local taxes from the implementation of these projects.
