World Expo 2015 will be held in Milan from May 1 to October 31, 2015 . The main theme of this exhibition is the future availability of food and water supplies , as well as the state of nutrition and health in the future. The exhibition will present the future of technology aimed at reducing poverty and hunger in the world , as well as halting the spread of infectious diseases. This event promotes the interaction between stakeholders, such as farmers, nonprofit organizations, humanitarian missions and environmentalists that lead to the creation of new activities . More than 100 countries around the world will take part in the exhibition.

Since July 2013 the Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine held a meeting of Coordinating Committee for the preparation and participation of Ukraine in the World Exhibition , the results of which have decided to build a pavilion for the presentation of the national exposition of Ukraine.
