Museum of local lore (Melitopol), the Museum of Modern Art (Warsaw) and Art Platform Open Space (Kiev) invites everyone to a series of lectures devoted to contemporary art museum of contemporary cultural institutions, strategies of interaction of culture and society, and non-traditional approaches to education which will be held from 19 to 22 March in the Melitopol museum of local lore.

Lectures will be the starting point of the project "In the center of the community," which will be held in Melitopol from March to October 2015. The project "At the heart of the community," involves the creation of free space interaction Museum and its audience to create an exhibition on the theme of memory in the exhibition space of the museum. It is planned to hold a series of events, lectures, workshops and joint action with artists, curators, activists, and other professionals, during which participants will have to answer questions such as: How is the public memory? What is the role of a small museum in society? As the development of cultural institutions associated with the development of society?

The project "At the heart of the community" is being implemented within the program TANDEM (TANDEM) - Exchange between cultural managers of Ukraine is an initiative of the European Cultural Foundation European Cultural Foundation (Amsterdam) and MitOst (Berlin). The program is implemented MitOst and Insha Osvita Insha Osvita (Kiev), supported by the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Berlin) in the framework of the "Dialogue of change."

March 21 12:00: "Architecture Options" (holds Ukrainian painter, initiator of the art platform Open Space Yuri Kruchak). The lecture will introduce the species, forms and structures of various art and cultural institutions that exist both in Ukraine and in other countries.

March 22 12:00: "Local new global" (holds Ukrainian painter, initiator of the art platform OpenPlace Julia Kostereva)

The purpose of the workshop "Local - a new global" to identify possible ways to involve local communities in the artistic process. In a playful way the participants and participants are encouraged to identify relevant topics, locations and categories of people together and to interpret the meaning.
