After congratulations of scientific advisor of the program "Intercultural cities" Xenia Rubicondo citizens of Melitopol was congratulated with the beginning of work on the creation of intercultural integration Plan by representative of secretariat general of CE Snezana Samardzic-Markovic.
In her letter Ms. Samardzic-Markovic noted the active participation of Melitopol in the program of the Council of Europe Intercultural cities and commitment to the comprehensive development, in which there is no place for prejudice and discrimination.
"Your city is already confirmed commitment to intercultural approach , which is key to a successful and fruitful work in the future. Look forward to your continued work in this direction, the key to success is political interaction," she wrote in her message to Melitopol.
Also the representative of CE reported that last year, that six new cities have become partners of the CE Program and it gives hope for the further development of the Programme in the context of improving the quality of life and better quality of intercultural dialogue in a growing space. Today in program "Intercultural cities" take part about 73 cities.
