Local authorities and religious denominations welcomed the participants of the festive show. At the end there was a collective creation of �Intercultrural Easter Egg� under the guidance of masters of national applied art.

Every spring in Melitopol is a citywide celebration of ��ntercultural  Easter in intercultural city�. The event is organized by the Association of national-cultural societies of Melitopol. Representatives of many ethnic communities in national costume in turn tell their guests about the tradition of celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, sing national songs, dance, play musical instruments. After the presentation, participants and guests taste the national dishes, share their recipes, tell each other legends and traditions of their people. Within the framework of Easter �elebration of multinational Melitopol in 2015 was held an exhibition �Pysanka of the world�  for  the first time. At the Victory Square near the monument to Taras Shevchenko were installed stands with hundreds of colored Easter eggs painted and decorated by hands of adults and young Melitopol's citizens.
