in the framework of the Protocol Cooperation Contract Realization between Kedainiai District Municipality (Lithuania) and the Executive Committee of the #Melitopol City Council of Zaporizhzhia region(Ukraine) 2017, at the invitation of the Kedainiai Football Club "Nev??is", in order to establish friendly ties between the twin cities two sports teams "Spartak" (football players of 2005 and 2006 years of birth) participated in the International Children's Football Tournament "KEDAINIAI ARENA CUP", which took place in the Lithuanian city Kedainiai.

16 teams from Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Belarus, England, Poland, Ukraine and Russia participated in the competitions.
The Melitopol youth team of 2005 year of birth in their subgroup won the 2nd place, and in the final beta games lost Estonia's team, and as a result became the 4th in the tournament table. The best player in the tournament was Ivan Piven, the goalkeeper of Melitopol "Spartak".
The youth team of 2006 year of birth gained the 5th place within 8 games. The best player of the tournament was Artem Bessonov from Melitopol.
Teams were prepared by football coaches at the Melitopol Municipal Institution Stadium Spartak
During each football match, Melitopol presented to the rivals souvenir products with the Melitopol brand.
The hosts of the competition also took care of the cultural program. After the competitions, a trip to memorial places of the Old City was organized for the Melitopol teams.
